Beware of this company!! Cosmotown suspends domains without reason. They suspended the imexbb.com domain last Saturday after receiving an automated mass email from a trademark law firm that was spidering the Internet. This email complained about a single copyright-questioning posting. For these cases, the forum has a reporting function where users can report inappropriate user posts to us. imexbb.com is a non-profit business forum for traders and entrepreneurs where they can exchange ideas. The domain has been operated by another registrar since 2009 without any problems. 2 months ago we transferred our domain to cosmotown.com to save a few dollars per year as it is the cheapest registrar. A big mistake as it turned out. On the day of the blocking, we explained the situation to cosmotown via email. According to the cosmotown website, they respond within 24 hours. We have not received a response to any of our emails to date - almost a week later. Such a registrar is a disgrace to the Internet. Since we do not generate any revenue from the Bulletin Board, we will not hire a lawyer to recover the stolen domain. It is intended as a warning to everyone not to trust their domain to this registrar.
